No. The app is free to download and includes three full analyses with nothing held back. MixGrade Pro is then a one-time purchase of $9.99, a non-consumable, so it never renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Does my mix get uploaded?+
No. Analysis runs entirely on your iPhone. Optional track identification sends only audio fingerprints to Apple’s Shazam service, never your recording.
What formats are supported?+
MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF and FLAC, with sets up to three hours long.
How do I restore my purchase?+
Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with.
Why are some tracks shown as ID?+
Track identification matches against the Shazam catalog and needs an internet connection. DJ edits, bootlegs, heavily pitched tracks and long overlaps often cannot be matched, so those rows read ID. The scoring does not depend on identification and works either way.
Why am I seeing ads?+
The free tier is ad supported: a banner, plus a full-screen ad from your second session onwards and at most once every three minutes. MixGrade Pro removes both. You can reopen the advertising privacy options from Settings inside the app.
Which iPhones are supported?+
MixGrade needs iOS 26 or later and is built for iPhone. The coaching note is written by Apple’s on-device model where that is available, and by a local template where it is not, so there is always a note.
